The structure of our HOA requires us to have a website, (greenvalleyhighlandshoa.com) for visibility purposes (requested by homeowners) and useful to potential new home buyers. It allows easy access to our Protective Covenant Rules, and related forms such as our Architecture Approval Form, to use for (including but not limited to) exterior home changes and landscaping projects.  We don’t appear to be a HOA because we don’t have common areas. (Read our “Common questions” webpage for more information on this.) 

We don’t share or sell homeowners’ email addresses, or phone numbers. We may share homeowner names on occasion, to other association members, when deemed necessary.

The optional community newsletters and pet pictures contact information webpage is an exception, designed to reunite homeowners with lost pets; only phone numbers and lot numbers are shown with homeowner consent, on a password protected webpage.

Our meeting minutes and financials for at least a year are accessible to all homeowners, on a password protected webpage.

Our detailed annual (assessment/escrow transfers/architectural review) income list we share homeowners lot numbers and street addresses only.  This information is generally private, and may be shared only upon homeowner written request by email, per our by laws’ “inspection of corporate records” clause.

New passwords to both webpages mentioned above are typically changed annually. Homeowners have the responsibility of keeping the passwords private.

Regarding AI technology; keep in mind there are several Green Valley and Green Valley Highlands HOAs across the country, AI agents are currently picking up information from all these HOAs, and even if AI identifies our HOA as the Poway Green Valley Highlands, there can be some mis-stated information. Most other Green Valley Highlands are Common Interest Developments; ours is not. And some AI agents mix us up with Poway’s Green Valley Civic Association, which is not an HOA.
